Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a modular, digital solution that allows organizations to create compelling, engaging, personalized experiences for their customers across all channels. Simply put, AEM allows organizations to engage with their customers in a more fluid and adaptable manner with a business-friendly interface for faster time to market.

The modular design of AEM is focused into four main tools, AEM – Sites, AEM – Forms, AEM - Assets, and AEM – Screens, which specialize in a specific area of customer interactions. AEM – Sites is a content management solution designed for content distribution. AEM-Forms is designed to focus on data capture, process management and correspondence management. AEM – Assets is a digital asset management system that allows for a single source of truth for all digital assets used throughout an organization. AEM-Screens allows for dynamic and interactive content into physical locations. Each of these tools are agnostic and can be integrated with each other and competitive solutions with similar functionalities to build out holistic solutions. Together these solutions create memorable and engaging experiences for users.

The easy-to-use interface empowers business departments to create and manage their own content, while still allowing IT teams to manage permissions and security throughout the entire AEM environment.

A key feature through the entire AEM solution is reusability. Whether we are referring to a specific piece of text or a piece of marketing collateral, AEM allows the appropriate department to own and disperse their content out to other departments to be leveraged, while still always referencing the original content for whenever changes may occur.

AEM is used throughout the world in a wide range of verticals, whether it be Government, Retail, Health Care or Financial Services to name a few. Regardless of the industry, it is critical to the development of memorable and engaging content to help build and maintain customer relations.

Adobe has always been a leader in their field and their AEM solution is no exception to the rule. AEM has been ranked in the top right quadrant of the Gartner magic quadrants yet again.

AEM is a robust solution and to try to explain all the ways that AEM can benefit an organization in a few words is impossible. There is an abundance of different use cases and case studies that can help paint the picture in a more meaningful manner.
