You may have missed the live Adobe Summit session, Adobe Experience Manager Assets: Top DAM Innovations, but there have been some great improvements to Adobe Experience Manager Assets this year and I would love to highlight some of the features.
More than half of enterprises are experimenting with Artificial Intelligence and so this year Adobe has focused on improving how their AI, Adobe Sensei, is able to streamline asset management and increase the velocity in which new assets can be generated. Adobe Sensei is now able to tag assets automatically based on color and composition and the Smart Tagging feature has been enhanced to allow for fully automated tagging of text-based assets, to help with asset organization, document searching and content reuse.
Adobe has also made steps to create deeper integration with their Creative Cloud, empowering creative teams to stay in the tools they love. Adobe Photoshop services can now be integrated and run through the DAM to increase the velocity of content creation. Furthermore, Lightroom has now been added to the list of Creative Cloud products which can directly integrate with Adobe Experience Manager Assets allowing the use of presets for assets.
My favorite new feature is Assets Essentials, a new interface to find, collaborate, and manage your digital content. I am looking forward to spinning up this new workspace to explore the layout for myself.
